Although some 20 years ago I imagined myself researching some field of theoretical physics, which was the purpose of my undergraduate degree from Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires, my next encounter with university life was at Instituto de Altos Estudios Empresariales of the Universidad Austral, where, already an executive at Oracle, I was taking the Management Development Program. Just as in college, when I was elected to the student union, at IAE I was appointed by my peers as Class President of the alumni.
